Aided by its founders’ experience with Troybilt® tillers, DR Power launches the DR Rototiller. Today, the DR Rototiller line includes small cultivators, walk-behind tillers, and tow-behind models for ATVs and tractors.
DR steps into the log splitter business, starting with a small electric benchtop model and, over time, designing a complete line of the world’s fastest kinetic splitters—DR RapidFire™ Log Splitters, and most powerful hydraulic splitters.
Billed as the “World’s First Self-Feeding Chipper for Homeowners,” the DR Rapid Feed Chipper challenges the concept that only road crews can handle chipping large trees. With the Rapid Feed Chippers, DR introduces a lineup of dedicated chippers that can reduce tree limbs up to 6" in diameter to a pile of chips in just minutes.
As the popularity of the zero-turn lawnmower grows in the U.S. lawn and garden market, DR steps in with a Z-mower of its own—the DR Converta Mower (later renamed DR Versa Mower)—a zero turn mower which converts to a walk-behind mower with the flip of a lever.
CHP goes green with the launch of Neuton Power Equipment, primarily featuring the Neuton Battery Lawn Mower. Within a few years, the Neuton Mower becomes the darling of California’s Clean Air lawn mower trade-in events, causing thousands of Californians to trade in their old gas machines for the new lightweight mower of the future.
DR takes on what is likely the most universally hated, weekend-killing chore of them all—fall leaf raking. The DR Leaf and Lawn Vacuum, designed to fit virtually any riding lawn mower, collects leaves while mowing, and reduces them to a fine, compost-ready mulch. With subsequent redesigns and the addition of walk-behind models, the Leaf and Lawn Vacuum becomes one of the company’s top products.
As every rural homeowner knows, living with pot holes every spring is a car-battering battle. That is, until the introduction of the DR Power Grader. Towed behind a riding mower or ATV, the DR Power Grader allows homeowners to easily maintain their own driveways. It loosens and redistributes existing material, saving hundreds on the cost of commercial grading and adding new gravel.

DR Battery Powered Tools, employing an interchangeable 62V LiPRO™ battery, mark DR Power’s entrance into green power. In time for spring, the DR lineup includes 3 mowers (including a self-propelled model) and 4 handheld yard tools—all of them powered by the same quick-charging battery.
Ready in time for the first winter storms, DR Snow Blowers introduce feature-rich machines that include plug-in electric starting, EZ-Turn Steering™, and superior chute controls. Available in four widths, from 26" to 34" wide, the Snow Blowers boost company sales in what has traditionally been the “off-season”.
Encouraged by the early success of the Battery Powered Tools, DR engineers are able to leverage the same proven LiPRO™ battery platform to introduce the DR Pulse Trimmer/Mower, the world’s first battery powered trimmer on wheels.
The company acquires Mean Green Products, entering into the market for electric powered Z-turn mowers.
Mean Green expands it's offering with a commercial, stand-on Z-turn mower capable of all day run times (up to 7 hours of continuous use). Available in 52" or 60" cutting width.
The flagship DR Field & Brush Mower moves into the commercial and rental markets with the XD Series. The line includes 26- and 30-inch cuts, engines up to 18.5 HP, and 3-Year Commercial warranties.
The NEMESIS offers commercial electric peformance to users who don't require all day runtimes. This new rider will run for up to 2.25 hours — enough to mow up to 5 acres without recharging.

DR becomes the first brand to produce a battery-electric mower for rough area mowing. The FB26E uses the same portable battery pack that powers the DR ZT5E Zero-Turn Mower.
DR Power introduces its largest ever tow-behind field and brush mower – the PRO MAX60T features a 60” wide mowing deck powered by a 24HP Commercial Kawasaki OHV V-Twin engine.
