VOLUNTARY SAFETY RECALL

The reason for the recall is the risk that pieces from the leaf vacuums can come loose inside the unit, or debris can pierce the chute, resulting in material ejecting and posing a laceration hazard.

This recall involves the DR Power brand tow-behind or walk-behind leaf vacuums listed on the following page. For tow-behind leaf vacuums, the model number is printed on the data tag located on the impeller housing beside the engine. For walk-behind leaf vacuums, the model number is printed on the front right side of the unit behind the wheel.

What will DR Power do?

DR Power is offering consumers a free consumer-installed remedy kit. The remedy kit will include instructions for easy installation and a protective chute sleeve that will protect against material piercing the existing chute.

What we need you to do?

Please check your leaf vacuum to verify that it is a recalled unit, based on the model numbers included below. If it is a recalled unit, please stop using the leaf vacuum and fill out the form below for a free repair kit.

Expectation:

Please allow DR Power 1-2 weeks to review your request for a remedy kit. If additional information is needed, we will reach out with the email provided. Once we place an order for the remedy kit you will receive an email confirmation.
