What DR Power will do:
DR Power is offering consumers a prorated refund, determined based on the age of the battery pack. To receive a prorated refund on the battery pack only, consumers will be required to sever the power cord to the battery pack's charger and send two photos to DR Power (recall@drpower.com) (or via the upload form below): (1) one photo of the recalled battery pack, showing the model number, with “Recalled” written on the outer case in permanent, indelible marker; and (2) one photo of the recalled battery pack’s charger showing the severed power cord.

Expectation:
DR Power will review your request for refund, once verified DR Power will email you a confirmation with the amount due back. Please allow 2-4 weeks for either a refund to credit card used at time of purchase (only if still valid) or for a check to be mailed to the address on file.
Note: Do not throw this recalled lithium-ion battery or device in the trash, the general recycling stream (e.g., street-level or curbside recycling bins), or used battery recycling boxes found at various retail and home improvement stores. Recalled lithium-ion batteries must be disposed of differently than other batteries, because they present a greater risk of fire. Your municipal household hazardous waste (HHW) collection center may accept this recalled lithium-ion battery or device for disposal. Before taking your battery or device to a HHW collection center, contact it ahead of time and ask whether it accepts recalled lithium-ion batteries. If it does not, contact your municipality for further guidance.
