Q.While the Timberjack may support an 18-inch log, I question if at 48 inches that it has enough leverage to roll an 18-inch oak log onto the stand?
A.Thank you for your inquiry. I too was skeptical about the leverage. I had the opportunity to purchase one for my father in law and no longer doubt its ability to pick up and hold logs larger than 18" on its stand. My father in law and I have used his extensively bucking up cords of wood for the deer camp deep in the Green Mountains here in Vermont. I would heartily endorse this product. I hope your experience matches mine. If you'd like to order this item please call us at 800-376-9637 or just place the item in your "shopping cart" online.

Q.Is there a specific minimum size for this tool?
A.Minimum size log the woodchuck log jack can handle is 6" to 8" in diameter and up to 20" in diameter. Dual feet keep handle from digging into ground, keeps chain from hitting the ground. The jack prevents bar from binding when cutting. Comes with a lifetime warranty on the handle and is made in the U.S.A.

Thanks for your question. ph

Q.Is Item #28151 (Receiver Hitch Post) required to mount to a hitch?
A.Yes, to mount the Convertible Log Holder to a trucks reciever you need item 28151. Otherwise the Log Holder comes with chains and attaches to the trunk of a nearby tree. Thanks
