Engineered for enduring performance
There's a reason it's America's #1 selling trimmer on wheels. Backed by over 25 years of innovation, and tested for thousands of hours, the DR Trimmer/Mower is the perfect union of form and function. Every detail of this machine is designed to deliver rock soild reliability and unbeatable performance.
Prevents grass & weeds from wrapping, guaranteed
Our Wide-Body design makes it nearly impossible for vegetation to wrap or tangle around the Trimmer Head. Many other trimmers snarl so badly they stall out. But the DR Trimmer / Mower shrugs off vegetation while mowing the tallest, thickest grass and weeds.
Optional DuraBlades for 3/8" Thick Brush
Cords go on in seconds, no tools required. With our optional DR DuraBlades you can quickly swap out your cutting cords with metal blades, embedded in a high-tech polymer, that slice through tough brambles and hardwood brush up to 3/8" thick, and tough, stalky weeds that are even thicker!
Patented Cord Attachment System
Cords go on in seconds, no tools required. Choose from 6 different cutting height adjustments (1-1/2" to 4") at the same time you attach your cords. No tools and no extra time required. Set the cutting height low for trimming, or set it high for off-lawn mowing of tall grass and weeds
Super-duty Cutting Cords
Thicker and longer lasting than any other. Our Cutting Cord is a custom blend of materials that comes with over 20 years of product testing. It's specifically designed to handle the cutting speed and power of our big machines. And with better raw materials, our cord lasts 3 to 4 times longer than "bargain" department store cutting cord.
Patented Parallel Trimming Action® (PTA®) Feature
Tilt the trimmer frame for precise trimming and edging. With the flip of a lever, you can swing the cutting head to the left side, for crisp trimming and edging along any border! Plus, because the head also tilts in PTA® mode, the cords can skim under fences and edge right up to walks, drives, and garden borders. (Not available on Self-Propelled model.)
Gear-Driven Transmission (Self-Propelled model)
Powered wheels make the work easy on you. A cast-aluminum gear box is the heart of the Self-Propelled model's transmission. Sealed and lubricated for life, the transmission never requires adjustment or maintenance. Just pull the lever to engage the transmission and set the wheels in motion.

Tried to kill it.
I maintained two acres of uneven field property with this before I upgraded to a field and brush mower. I put this machine through 5+ years of abuse and I still haven't killed it. I bought the largest line I could fit in the mower ball and tried to cut the largest stuff I could find. I have cut 1" saplings with it but it took some time. I cut with no problem any grass, bush and weed I had. I did break the plastic wheels and I upgraded to the spoked wheels. Problem solved. My only complaint is the line often will melt and fuse to the mower ball. It is easier and faster to change the line by taking apart the mower ball. I wish they would make the entire stack out of metal. Having the option for different heights allows me to mow grass or brush. This mower is light, easy to manuever, and easy to push. WEAR a safety SHEILD not just glasses. Excellent job DR.

Great Product
This product cut through just about anything like a hot knife through butter, never had any problems out of it. Had great maneuverability and great for hard to reach corners and ditches.

Used mine for over 10 years
Both my wife and I used our DR Trimmer to maintain our 2.5 acres of tough Texas range grass and weeds. The property is also rough and uneven. It has given us great service. We also have used the Beaver Blade to cut down Cedar Trees. Normal maintenance and belt replacement has been only things required to keep it running smoothly.

This product gets to grass and weeds I wouldn't be able to cut otherwise
Our trimmer is close to 10 years old. It's loud, but we live where there are a lot of rocks. A regular mower would have it's blades dented and unusable. This trimmer has held us in good stead for a number of years. It allows us to keep the grass and weeds away from our foundation. Scorpions and snakes are common in our area and don't need much of an invitation. If the area around our foundation is clean, they don't have much of a chance. I like outside work and know it will get the job done. The maintenance is simple enough that my husband takes care of it. I just regret it is past the deadline.

6.75 Trimmer Mower
Bought one back in 2005'... never truly ever had any really troubles with it.. other then changing out string's , plug's, air filter, and once a year oil... and bottom of the cup Guard for the string hook up...that goes bad after a while of hard use. My wife is the main person who use Trimmer...for our yard ... which is about 3 arc. big..yearly weeds need to be cut down ... so this is what she loves to do. Very easy to start with very few pull's... It's 7 yrs old now... thinking of buy'n a New one maybe for next year... they cost more now then back then... but they are well worth every penny you pay for them. An Dr Power Stands behind Every thing that the sell.
Very good place to deal with...

This trimmer exceeds all others by far!
I have had my DR Trimmer for many years now (probably one of the first ones made). I had performed normal maintenance, replaced the battery as needed, and used it on a constant basis. I live in the woods thus I have no "lawn" like most homeowners. I have some nice thick juicy weeds however, and they can be very tough to knock down. My DR Trimmer has performed like a champion for all these many years. I dread the day it dies. I will most certainly replace it immediately but until then I will continue to use it weekly around my one acre plantation. Great product, great value, great company. The telephone people are always the most helpful and very courteous when I need assistance with parts of any kind. Please keep up the great work and products coming.

Love my Mower
I love the mower. It is great for the lawn and edging. My wife will also mow with it as there are no fumes. We will never go back to any other mower.

My DR Trimmer is the best gift I ever received!! It is easy to crank, easy to load the string and will cut through heavy weeds!!
I AM A WOMAN THAT LOVES MY DR TRIMMER! My Mother gave it to me years ago for my birthday. I have kept her yard, my yard and our lake place yard looking good for years! When the men want to use it they have to get instruction and permission from me! :) I love that I can crank it with the key, and that it is easy to load the string! It has given me years of good service! I am older now and have a hip and back issue, so I now need a self propelled!! I am hoping that it will be my lucky day!! Thanks DR for making such an AWESOME piece of machinery!! :)
