Grader Snow Blade For DR Field & Brush Mower
Posted by: JERRY H. from DANVILLE, KY on 01/30/2016
Rating:
This is a great blade for snow. I have already used it 3 times to remove snow from my drive. Your shipping for this snow blade was terrible. I ordered this blade on October 27 and received it the second week of January.

Snow Blade is GREAT
Posted by: Larry F. from Shepherdsville, KY on 01/20/2016
Rating:
Bought last spring after our 16" snow and got to use for the first time today. Love it, graded 4 driveways with little effort, probably will not even put the grader blade on the farm tractor, this is easier to operate. With the chains on the tires it didn't even spin at all.

Works great!
Posted by: Joel S. from HARTSBURG, MO on 01/12/2016

This blade works great at clearing my long, paved driveway. The only negative I have noticed is the pins that hold the adjustable skids on. They need some kind of retention to keep them from falling out when you're clearing snow. I had to put some duct tape around them to keep them in.
Response from DR SupportThank you for taking the time to provide feedback on your new DR Grader Blade. We're pleased that it's worked great for you on your driveway and want to address your concern about the pins. There is a chance that those pins may be defective for some reason and to rule out that possibility we are sending you two new ones. You should see those in the mail soon. We certainly appreciate your business and thank you for choosing DR Power. Do let us know if we can be of further help. Happy Winter!

Our company bought this with hopes it would do the job. It was amazing! We used it during two week of ice storms and snow in the southeast (TN Valley)Peeled up ice by the hundreds of pounds and moved it to the side without employees having to shovel it. Windrowed the snow perfectly off sidewalks.

The blade I purchased "works" in an interesting way.....there hasn't been a snowstorm in Brainard, NE since I received it. We can handle this January "Spring"! Could it be because I got the new blade?

I haven't used my grader / snow blade yet I can't wait to. It arrived quickly and was very easy to install. I am a proud owner of 6 different pieces of DR equipment (walk behind brush hog, chipper attachment, rapid-fire log splitter - AWESOME machine, power grader, roto-hog and now blade attachment) and they all work great and stand up to whatever I throw at them. I'm sure this grader / snow blade will be no different. Thanks DR!it.

Grader/Snow blade for Field & Brush Mower
Posted by: Roger D. from Clearwater, KS on 07/11/2014

I received the grader blade and immediately installed it on my brush mower. I needed to spread a load of gravel on my driveway, so I used the blade to move the gravel from a pile onto the driveway surface. It handled the task with little trouble. A good piece of equipment.

Product is very easy to take on and off. Used this blade to level a half acre backyard. Loose soil was moved with ease. Had a large pile of wood chips also. Used the blade to move and level them out. Worked very well for this as well. Overall, this is a good product and is built very well.

For me, it's too heavy to put on by myself (55 yr old woman), but once in place, I can grade my driveway easily.

Own one for 3 years. Live near St Louis,Mo. House is on a gravel road about 1000 ft long, 5 inches of snow no problem. Easy to put on and change the angle of the blade. The way i figure it paid for itself first year. Will never shovel again.

Q.I have a Field & Brush mower serial # ATM 116--- sold by Farm & Fleet, do all of the attachments fit this model? IE- snow blower, chipper ect.
A.Thank you for your inquiry. Your Field & Brush Mower WILL accept all attachment and is limited by only one factor; if you purchase the tire chains for the snowthrower you will need to purchase a special set of tire chains rather than the regular tire chains due to the proximity of the oil filter to the tire. I hope this is helpful to you.

Q.bachtold model
I have a bachtold modle and am wondering if the plow attachment will work on my field brush mower... and other accessories like the snow blower??? Thank you for your time Robert
A.I'm sorry Robert, none of our accessories will fit a bachtold machine. Many years ago there was a lawn deck for that model but that has been discontinued for quite some time. Thank you
