Media Buyer
Country Home Products, developer and marketer of DR Power Equipment and Power Equipment Plus, is seeking a Media Buyer to work on site in our National Direct Response Advertising Department, located in our facility in Vergennes, VT.
Candidates should thrive on negotiation, have the ability to use ROI analysis and be able to work with a variety of media outlets including television, magazine, newspaper and online. Preference will be given to those with national media experience; especially those with print and online experience; television experience a plus. The successful candidate must be driven to think outside the box for making deals, and, at the same time, be able to build strong relationships with ad reps, and with the internal team, to expand our advertising reach.
Education: Bachelor's degree and/or one to three years related experience considered.

Fulfillment Associate
(Regular Full-Time)
DR Power Equipment is looking for a Fulfillment Associate to work in our Winooski location. Some of the job responsibilities include the following: pick parts orders from numbered locations using printed "Pick List", pack parts orders using appropriate box or envelope, operate shipping computer to "Ship Confirm" all orders according to carrier, load and unload trucks, perform physical counts, perform general warehouse upkeep, receive inventory, do cycle counts, stock moves, shipping and general inventory maintenance, assemble kits and other assembly duties as required, use and maintain equipment associated in the assembly process.
Previous warehouse/fulfillment and forklift experience required. General understanding of computers with the ability to learn and run various programs.

Director of Engineering
(Regular Full-Time)
Country Home Products, home of DR Power Equipment and Power Equipment Plus, has an immediate opening for an experienced Director of Engineering to work in our Vergennes, Vermont corporate office.
The director will coordinate and direct all engineering activities to develop new products, introduce them into production, modify existing designs and coordinate the product development process from initial design phase through the beginning of manufacture. You will manage people, processes and projects and be great at all three.
Overview of General Responsibilities
New Product Design/Development
• In-house design/engineering team management
• Outsource project based design/engineering
• Supplier based design/engineering
• Project Management including the management of requirements, budgets and schedules
Sustaining Engineering
• In-house engineering support to production
• Engineering support for Outsourced production
Testing and Evaluation
• In-house testing and evaluation of designs, components and products
• Third party testing and evaluation of designs, components and products
Strategic Sourcing
• Collaborate with Purchasing to identify and evaluate new suppliers
Position Requirements
• B.S. Mechanical Engineering from four-year College or University required. Advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering or Business is desired.
• A minimum of five (5) years of management experience in a similar environment required
• Design of commercial and/or consumer outdoor power equipment preferred
• Off shore manufacturing experience, specifically in Asia a must.
• Thorough understanding of Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Product Development, and test and evaluation techniques.
