"I bought the DR, mowed for three days straight. It pulverized everything in its' path. "
The lower portion of my 1+ acre property had been overgrown with wild berry vines for many years, reaching 110 feet long, 15-18 feet wide and over 8 feet tall in the center. Many contractors I asked wouldn't even try to clean it out. One told me it would take two weeks and cost a thousand dollars or more. I bought the DR, mowed for three days straight, and pulverized everthing in its' path. No more berries, period!

"The DR can mow a path to Beelzebub's and back..."
Ten years ago we purchased our DR mower. It is still running great. We have been able to mow areas that would be impossible to reach due to terrain and narrow access. We maintain a two mile walking path through trees, thorn bushes over eight feet tall and brush that would otherwise be impossible to clear - along a river's edge with very narrow berms. This path gives us the ability to access areas that would only be visible to deer and coyotes. The DR can mow a path to Beelzebub's and back... just make sure you wear gloves and tough boots that are equal to the task of the mower.
My brush mower is a beast. Whether knocking down thick brush on our mountain property at 8800 feet, or heavy growth and weeds around our hay field, this machine can be depended on. Why it hasn't broken yet is beyond me."

"Thank you DR!!"
I did not want to have a collection of small engines to maintain and keep running in order to have a collection of power equipment to maintain my property. The DR Field and Brush Mower allows me to use one engine to accomplish several tasks. Besides the brush mower deck that comes with the unit, I own the finish mower attachment, the snowthrower attachment, the chipper attachment and the generator attachment. All have worked flawlessly and have been well worth the money spent. Thank you DR!!

"DR brush mower is a great help in keeping the brush piles manageable. "
My wife and I own and operate a B&B on five acres in rural Sarpy county Nebraska. (Melia Hill Inn B&B) It is a big chore keeping the house and land neat and tidy. Since we have many trees every spring storm gives us down branches to clear. I prefer to use the wood as mulch rather then burn, and the DR
chipper attachment for my DR brush mower is a great help in keeping the brush piles manageable. I originally bought the DR brush mower for the
snow plow attachment, and I quickly found out that other attachments help me around the acres. Every few years I plan to buy more attachments, until I have all that are offered. Each attachment becomes my favorite, but I must say that the
lawn mower attachment is the best.

"We are a DR familly!!! You can not beat the quality anywhere!!"
I have a DR brush mower and a DR wood splitter and a
wood chipper. That alone should tell you what I think of the DR products. I purchased the brush mower to clear some areas around the edge of our woods. My husband decided that it was a fun toy and made trails thru our entire 40 acre woods. I have only used it once as he has taken over playing with that toy. The brush chipper is ok but we have decided to trade up to a larger one as this one is a little small for what we need. We are saving our pennies for the
big tow behind one. The wood splitter is a dream. We had a tornado go thru the woods and cut about 30 cords of wood with it and it is wonderful. We (my husband) takes the DR brush mower in to clear a area and then out comes the chain saw and then the splitter. We are a DR family!!! You can not beat the quality anywhere!!

"We love it!."
I manage a grounds department at a health system which has multiple storm water ponds, as well as wet lands which must be maintained. Prior to purchasing the DR, we had to either pay a vendor to come in, or attempt it with string trimmers as the grade is too steep for a tractor. Since purchasing the DR, not only do we use it in our wetland management, but we also have the finish mowing deck and use it on a weekly basis.
We love it!

"I love the fact that when we call...the company knows EXACTLY what model we have." I love the fact that when we call in for maintenance items we are tracked by name and phone number and the company knows EXACTLY what model we have. We get the right parts the first time every time.

"Support was very good..."
I bought my DR ten years ago to mow my acreage. I could not afford a tractor at the time so the DR, with me hanging on, mowed over 20 acres. After we got the tractor, the DR was still my choice for hilly areas and dense brush. I mowed blackberry brambles, small trees, grasses, you name it. Most of the maintenance was the usual lubrication and an occasional belt. I had a drive gear box problem after 7 years or so. DR support worked with my local mechanic to resolve the problem and get me back to the mowing. Support was very good and I have always been pleased with the shipments of belts, filters, etc.
I recommend the Field and Brush Mower for rough hilly places and areas you really need to control but can't with regular mowing equipment.
Some day I might get one of the newest models if anything wears out on mine!

"I love my Field and Brush Mower."
I have 3 acres on the Middle Fork of the Payette River in Idaho and the entire 3 acres is a field of high grass, shrubs and difficult terrain. My DR goes through all of this like I was on a Sunday stroll. Before my DR, I couldn't even see the river, now I have direct access to the reason I bought this land. Great product!

"This is the best unit for the dollar..."
I was skeptical at first of a product advertised in a lot of old time almanacs and hippy dippy publications but checked around at rental agencies and found that most of their models were second hand DR Field/Brush mowers with a HD blade. I paid my money and took my chances and that old Briggs was only an 8HP but it did the job that was necessary to reclaim 11 acres and turn it into a thriving apple orchard. It worked so well that I made the mistake of loaning it and it came back needing a new plug. I sold it after five years to a professional landscaper and in the first two jobs he bid he made back the purchase price. I purchased a newer model with the Kawasaki twin 15 HP and I'll tell you aint much that stops that unit. I haven't even had to put on the Brush mower attachment since purchase because the 42" mower is tough enough. I have changed oil and air filters faithfully and gone through only one new battery and set of blades and only two belts in six plus years of service. This is the best unit for the dollar output I have seen and it is maneuverable in tight spots.

"The coolest thing is that I clear out trails through an overgrown clear cut..."
I use my 11.5 HP DR Brush Mower exclusively at my deer hunting club in Pine Mountain, GA. During the summer months it is used to mow the campground area. I used it to clear out an area filled with weeds and blackberry bushes to create a food plot. I now use it to keep the food plot clear of summer weeds. The coolest thing is that I clear out trails through an overgrown clear cut from a creek to my food plot. The bucks love the trail because their large antlers don't get caught on limbs and vines. This fall I saw many deer using the trail that ends up at a pond beside my food plot. I harvested two nice deer and an eleven point buck using the trail in the last two seasons. Thanks DR Brush Mower!

"The quality is TOPS and made in America..."
I am in real estate sales. I use my 15HP 26" Field & Brush mower to clear different tracts of land I list for my customers which in turn helps me to sell them much quicker by making them look better. This machine has done a super job for me. The quality is TOPS and made in America I like.

"I have recommended this machine to all my friends."
I have the largest brush-cutter you sell. It has been one of the best purchases I have made for the ranch. In the literature it says that it will cut saplings up to 2" caliper. That is no joke!! Not only will it cut it but it chews it up. I have hit haydite bricks, rocks, steel, etc. and the blade looks like it did when I got the machine new. I live in East Texas and the ranch I bought was over-grown with brush, saplings, and briar vines. I set as a goal to clear a 100' x 100' area when I'm clearing. I can have that area done in a matter of hours with this brush-cutter and it looking like a park. I have recommended this machine to all my friends.
